Andrew and I would like to thank you for the wonderful long weekend you organised for us at the Himalayan Hideaway last weekend. The lodge is gorgeous and the view from the verandah of our rooms was just stupendous! I could have spent hours reading there and enjoying the scenery! The 3 white water rafting trips were all fantastic and Ganesh was a superb guide. He also took us on a really interesting trek along the water's edge and up to a village. Finally the food was also so delicious and we really cannot thank you enough for such a perfect weekend. All the staff were wonderful and we could not have asked for more.

We cannot wait to return!

There are some wonderful long and short hikes in our area. Some hikes lead to nearby villages and give a glimpse of life in a hill village. Other longer hikes lead through wilderness areas of mixed forests of rhododendron, oak and pine to secluded meadows and high points from where it is possible to get a view of the snowcapped Garhwal range. One of our guides always accompany the hike.
